this was a very good stay, reasonable prices. hotel was straightforward. the location was ideal and magnificent, next to the center, restaurants and shopping and the old town, and the private parking was an excellent bonus. i tried some drinks at restaurant bar el gallego, located 5 minutes walk away. my room was a nice size and spotless, there were central heating, multi-channel television, and a writing desk. liked views over city. the staff were very helpful and excellent and took care of me.

The location of the hotel was excellent, right in the heart of the town. We had a bit of trouble finding it with the GPS, but that just added to the adventure! The reception staff were really friendly and helpful, giving us lots of tips on where to eat and what to do. We loved the fact that there was a cozy cafe just across the street, perfect for a quick bite or a relaxing coffee.
The soundproofing in the hotel was not the best. We could hear everything that was going on in the neighboring rooms, and it made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

I absolutely adored the charming decor of the hotel, especially the cozy sitting area with its vintage furnishings. It gave me a sense of nostalgia and made me feel right at home. The general areas were also very well-maintained and clean, making it easy for me to navigate around as a senior. I felt safe and comfortable throughout my stay.
I would have appreciated a bit more assistance from the children working there in terms of arranging activities suitable for senior vacationers.

My recent stay at the hotel was quite pleasant. The location of the hotel was excellent, although my GPS got a bit confused due to the one-way system in the area. The reception staff were friendly and helpful during my check-in process, making me feel welcome right from the start. Although the hotel didn't offer breakfast, there was a lovely cafe just across the street where I could grab a bite to eat in the morning.

The vintage furniture and delicate details gave the place a nostalgic and homely feel. The general areas were clean and well-maintained, making it easy for me to navigate around as a senior woman. Plus, the hotel's accessibility features, like ramps and handrails, were a great help for someone with limited mobility like myself.
I would have appreciated a quieter atmosphere during my stay, as the walls were quite thin and I could hear my fellow guests quite clearly. It would have been ideal for the children working there to remind guests to be considerate and keep the noise levels down, especially during rest hours.

Located right in the heart of Benavente, we were a stone's throw away from all the cool spots. Me and my crew hit up the skate park and the badass street art scene - perfect for taking Insta-worthy pics. Plus, they had free Wi-Fi, so we could keep posting our sick adventures. The tour desk was clutch too, hooking us up with some epic excursions.
If I had to ask for anything, it'd be a chill hangout spot for us young party animals. Maybe a rooftop terrace with some sick tunes and a mini bar?

I absolutely adored the charming and cozy ambience of the hotel. The interior decoration had a delightful vintage touch that made me feel right at home. The common areas were well-maintained and welcoming, perfect for senior people like me to relax and socialize with other guests. Accessibility was also impressive, with easy-to-navigate corridors and elevators available for those with mobility challenges.
I would have appreciated a bit more assistance from the children working there. As a senior traveler, sometimes it's the little details that make a vacation truly enjoyable.

I recently stayed at Hostal Universal for a short trip to Benavente. The hotel's location was excellent, although my sat-nav struggled with the one-way system. The reception staff were friendly and incredibly helpful throughout my stay. While the hotel didn't offer breakfast, there was a lovely cafe just across the street where I could start my day on a positive note.
